I had an appointment a few weeks ago at one of the employer-sponsored primary care practices and someone followed up with me days later to see how I was doing. That has NEVER happened to me. I had a great first phone appointment with a nutritionist and ended the call with a doable plan to work towards overall better health. I wasn’t just told to eat less. I also received a follow up call from my screening and a very nice nurse went over my results and then actually explained to me what it all meant. I have always known that my cholesterol is high, but no one has ever gone over what each thing means with me and what I can do to improve it. In fact, in the past, I was just told to try improving diet and exercise but wasn’t told what things were good or bad. I feel cared for and that is something I really appreciate. "I used the new Penn Medicine HealthWorks Employer-Sponsored Primary Care Practice yesterday for a sinus infection and they were fabulous! The physician assistant and nurse were so attentive, and it was not busy at all, so I ended up doing some wellness follow-up blood work and have scheduled a full wellness exam at the practice. They gave great directions and once I got into the parking garage it was super easy. They also gave me a parking pass."
